Shiraz Central Business District Gateway

Monumental commercial structure proposed as an iconic urban gateway for Shiraz's central business district. Designed by Bahram Shirdel with project architect Kaveh Najafian and structural engineer Seyyed Rasoul Mirghaderi. The design incorporates folding architecture principles to create a fluid, topologically informed building that facilitates traffic flow, pedestrian access, and large-scale urban connectivity. The project, one of Shirdel's most documented works from his Tehran period, was never realized.
