The Alley House in Qom is designed with inspiration from the city's old alley fabric. By creating an internal pathway resembling an alley, the house brings the experience of moving through urban fabric into the domestic realm. The house's various spaces are organized along this internal alley, with each space situated like a small house alongside the passage. The use of brick, natural light, and the creation of small courtyards along the path reproduce the feeling of living in an intimate neighborhood, translating the social warmth of traditional Iranian urban fabric into a contemporary dwelling. The Alley House won Second Place in the Apartment Buildings category at the 21st Memar Award (2021) with 6 points, recognized for its poetic reinterpretation of urban spatial typologies within residential architecture.
