Villa Residential Building in Tehran, won First Place in the Apartment Buildings category at the 15th Memar Award (2015). With a total area of 763 square meters, the building is located in a cul-de-sac. The recycled brick facade of the building has given the project a distinctive visual identity — old bricks salvaged from demolished dilapidated buildings were cleaned, prepared, and reused.
The cul-de-sac's dead-end wall was a lifeless surface that the architect transformed into a large mural inspired by O. Henry's "The Last Leaf," bringing the public space of the alley alive and vibrant. The building plan was designed with attention to site orientation and the need for maximum natural lighting, with living spaces opening toward the south and natural light, while service spaces are placed on the northern side. Multiple terraces and balconies provide ample semi-open space for residents.
