Sam Tehranchi is an Iranian-Canadian architect born in 1970. He graduated with a Master's degree in Architecture from Shahid Beheshti University's Faculty of Architecture and Urban Design and founded Design Core Architects and Urban Designers in Tehran in 2000. His most celebrated project is the Tehran Book Garden, a major cultural complex featuring exhibition spaces, a children's science park, art galleries, theaters, cinemas, and outdoor event spaces. The project won First Place at the Memar Award in the public category and Second Place at the 2A Asia Architecture Award in 2017. He also serves as a jury member for international design awards, including the BLT Built Design Awards. He currently directs Design Core Consultants, operating in both Toronto and Tehran.
