This four-bedroom family retreat bridges between two rock outcrops aligned with the shore, and so frames the path to the sea beneath its "belly". One can enter the house at either end, by way of one of the rocks; this floating wooden lantern is a man-made object, built to contrast with and emphasise the undulating natural features of the glaciated landscape. The basic shape of the house has been deconstructed to create a wide variety of inside-outside conditions.
