Emarat Jan

Emarat Jan in Damavand achieved the rare distinction of a perfect consensus among all five jurors, winning first place in the Renovation category at the 20th Memar Award (2020) with a maximum score of 15 points. Designed by TehranMates Studio under the direction of Alireza Tahmouresie, this 685-square-meter renovation project transforms an existing structure into a contemporary living space while preserving its historical character. The unanimous first-place ranking by every juror underscored the project's exceptional quality in adaptive reuse.
