This project is the renovation of a residential unit with a steel skeleton in the Zaferaniyeh neighborhood of Tehran. The 180 sqm apartment was stripped to its skeleton and entirely redesigned.

The core idea derived from the young couple's lifestyle: with very demanding careers, they used the home only for rest and socializing. The "socialization cubes" were formed to implement the spatial program, with two key properties: "transformation" — a volume with simple modern design that can accommodate different functions; and "spatial expansion" — creating defined spaces for all building functions.
