Jury Discussion

Mojgan Hariri: The film of the project was very good, but the sheets are too cluttered.

Gisue Hariri: I like the project. Of course, it employs a language that we have seen in other works and is well known (angled walls, etc.), but the reason for the project's success is that it has maintained the design strategy throughout all parts — for example, lighting, cabinet design, seating platform design, and so on. It has both very new and innovative points as well as points that are not very new. But overall, it is a successful project.

Mojgan Hariri: I may or may not agree with the form and language of the project. But in terms of interior spaces, among the examples we have seen, it is the only project in which a complete unity is visible.

Nasrin Seraji: The interesting point for me is the contradiction between parts that could be seen anywhere and parts that are completely unique.

Nader Tehrani: In the works of Frank Lloyd Wright and the early works of I. M. Pei, you encounter the problem of dealing with the 45-degree angle. The fact that the designers in this project have faced this issue and instead of using right angles have worked with the same 45-degree angles is commendable. But on the other hand, I have a problem with a very all-encompassing architecture. Especially for a residential project, because it does not allow you to inhabit it with your own furniture and even your own clothes. I would have preferred this project to be non-residential.

Hadi Tehrani: I have nothing to add, except that the furniture design has also been very well executed.
