Winner of the Super Pipe International special prize for the best mechanical (building-services) design in the fourth Grand Me'mar Award (1383). Saba Tower is a 33-storey residential tower with 88 units, built for the National Iranian Steel Company Retirement Organization. Its zone-based ventilation and piping systems, presented in detail, were recognised as the most complete mechanical design in the competition.
From the jury report: the Super Pipe special prize for mechanical design was awarded to Design No. 38, the Saba residential tower — the design that, together with the Bidar House, stood out for the completeness of its mechanical documentation and, in the services ranking, was placed first.
