Abi Gallery won Second Place in the Renovation category at the 12th Memar Award with 9 jury points. Designed by ZAV Design & Build (Mohammadreza Ghodousi and Hossein Hejrati), the project transforms an approximately 50 m² basement on Dibaji Street in Tehran into a vibrant art gallery. The inventive spatial intervention maximizes a minimal footprint, demonstrating how creative design can breathe new life into overlooked urban spaces. The conversion showcases the potential of adaptive reuse in Tehran's dense urban fabric.
